Today the trip was made in beautiful but slightly cold weather going from sea level to 1.000 m altitude. Riding through Norwegian fjords and mountains. In one place they had to turn back as the road had not been cleared of snow. The distance traveled was about 580 km and they're now 10-15km outside of Trondheim.

Our two travelers have arrived in Lavik in Norway. They went 100 km today in cold but bright weather. Tomorrow the journey goes on.

After a long ride on Thursday driving 750 kilometers from Reykjavik to Egilsstadir.

It's been easy today. The brothers have been on the ferryboat Norræna with a short stop in Thorshavn.
Sverrir was again in a interview on the morning radio on RUV and you can listen to it here (it is in icelandic)
Short summary:

The ride to Seydisfjordur was cold but the travel in Norraenu has been good. They where joking about that Iceland might be the coldest country that they will ride in.When they where in Seydisfjordur they didnt realy feel that the tour had begun because it was like every other tour riding around Iceland, but when they went on the ferry it all started to sink in.They talk about that the tour will mostly be off the high ways.
The next stop will be in Bergen Norge, and they will be heading North from there.
From here on they main way to contact them will be through the satellite phone and there will of course be an interview next week.

Today, May 5th at 12 noon, the brothers are introducing their tour Round the World in the MotorMax store at 12 o'clock.
The tour will take 90 days and is this the first time Icelanders take on this kind of tour.
They will go through tough terrains and wilderness for weeks on end to achieve their goal.
Come and meet the guys and see the gear that will take them Round the World.
