Today they rode about 750km to Bellingham. They got a message where they've been invited to the annual Blaine Icelandic picnic that's today. It'll be interesting to stick around for a bit and chat.
The temperature was fine as they took off yesterday but was about 34°C (93°F) at the warmest during the day. Tomorrow they'll see about finding new clothes to ride in.
It took them about 2 hours to get through border control and in to the US which Sverrir describes very well in his blog. Go take a look.

They've ridden 480 km in 34°C (93°F) and are now heading towards Vancouver.
Everything is going very well and they send their regards.

The morning was spent fixing thins as they changed the chains on both bikes and changed tires as well.
After that they rode about 380km to Fort St. John.
The temperature is rising as they get further south, 25-28°C (77-82°F) today. Their gear is getting way too hot in this temperature.

11th June - Fort Nelson |

Drove in a fantastic landscape about 530 km. to Fort Nelson. 18-20°C and dry.
The chain on Sverris bike broke, but they made a temporary fix and are going to check if they can get another one there before they continue.

10. July - Watson Lake |

Drove 470 km. yesterday til Watson Lake Yukon in Canada in this great weather.
Bought new tires because the old nobbies were nearly finished. Then Sverrir got him self new sunglasses because the old one were tired..
They are driving along the Alaska Highway witch is very famous. It goes quite alot east but then they will move closer to the beach.
Sverrir had an interesting blog and check out the pictures that he has.
