June 27th 2007 - Tokyo |

They got in touch today when under the Tokyo Tower. On the way to Tokyo they took the highway and then drove around the city until they got a cab driver to guide them to Tokyo Tower. He drove ahead and when they got there he refused any payment. Tokyo is indescribable. They've gotten in touch with Antonio who's offered to let them borrow an apartment for a few days. They're there now after about a 90 minute drive. Tomorrow they'll start the paperwork for transporting the motorcycles to Alaska and there are a few spare parts that they'll look in to getting as well. The motorcycle club they've gotten in touch with is called Cajun, which means foreigner or outsider, and it's members are foreigners in Japan (hence the name). They've planned to ride with them over the weekend and hopefully it'll be yet another adventure. |
